This lovely lady bought the dress expressly for the portrait sitting,she was a bit disappointed that I couldn`t fit much of it in.

I got a request from a scottish band ( from Glasgow) to do a caricature of them playing their guitars. They kindly sent me a copy of the album- laid back jangly guitars, good songs- nice!

Un tel plaisir d'être invité à faire une peinture à l'huile à partir d'une si belle photo de mariage, les vêtements de mariage indiens sont magnifiques et très amusants à peindre. Rend un mariage anglais semble un peu modéré!

Dessiner directement n'est jamais facile et parfois les visages délicats des jeunes filles sont pour moi un vrai test, parfois j'arrive à les "attraper" et d'autres fois je m'éloigne un peu du but !

Après de nombreuses années de séparation, mon frère a retrouvé sa fille Victoria il y a cinq ans, aujourd'hui professeur d'art et d'architecture. La semaine dernière, nous avons eu une exposition ensemble à Surrey. Mon frère avec ses paysages et ses nus réalistes, moi avec mes trucs néo-impressionnistes et Victoria avec des imprimés abstraits. C'était une heureuse occasion.

One of the good things about working in areas like East London is the great variety of nationalities there for me to draw. a young English footballer (in an Argentine shirt), a Turkish man in an interesting hat and a beautiful girl from the Ukraine.

Dessiner des portraits est toujours un défi, mais quand elles sont aussi belles que ces deux filles, qui se sont assises pour moi consécutivement samedi dernier dans un centre commercial à Hounslow, il y a moins de marge d'erreur. La pression est forte pour rendre justice à leur beauté. La fille aux cheveux noirs est française et la blonde de (je pense) Pologne.
